Biography
Dr. Chandhok is an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Hematology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and a hematologist at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. She earned her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC. Dr. Chandhok completed her residency in internal medicine at Tufts Medical Center in 2016 and her internship there in 2014. She completed her fellowship training in hematology and oncology at Yale University School of Medicine in 2019.
Dr. Chandhok specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), and other myeloid malignancies. She is actively involved in clinical trials and currently cares for patients with myeloid malignancies. Dr. Chandhok is board certified in internal medicine and oncology, and board eligible in hematology. Her research focuses on the use of novel therapies to treat cancer and the identification of cancer dependencies and vulnerabilities in the early stages of cancer that can be used to develop cancer prevention strategies. She is also deeply invested in advancing health equity in cancer care. -
