Biography
Namrata S. Chandhok, MD, MS is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Hematology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and a hematologist-oncologist at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. She serves as Medical Director of Hematology and Oncology at University of Miami Hospital and as the clinical leader of the leukemia site disease group.
Dr. Chandhok specializes in the care of patients with acute myeloid leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, and other myeloid malignancies. Her research focuses on translating advances in myeloid biology into clinical trials, with particular interests in clonal hematopoiesis, cancer prevention, treatment-related toxicity, and digital health. She is also committed to improving equity and access in cancer clinical trials.
Dr. Chandhok received her medical degree from George Washington University, completed residency at Tufts Medical Center, and fellowship training in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Yale University. She holds a master’s degree in clinical Investigation from the University of Miami. -
