Morgan Freret, MD, PhD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist who specializes in caring for people with primary and metastatic brain tumors as well as breast cancer. Her expertise includes stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) techniques.
An Assistant Professor at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine, she completed residency training in radiation oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and earned her medical degree and Doctor of Philosophy (MD-PhD) from Harvard Medical School.
Her research focuses on improving the safety and efficacy of radiation therapy for cancer that has spread to the brain and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. Her research is funded by the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), Gerstner Family Philanthropies, and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).carlo
