Michael Alexander Silva, MD is an Assistant Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine (UMMSM). Dr. Silva earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Biology and Psychology from Duke University. He subsequently earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Virginia School of Medicine.
He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Washington University in St. Louis and then continued his training at Washington University in St. Louis to complete his fellowship in Pain Medicine.
Dr. Silva is double board-certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
