Dr. Imm is a graduate of The Ohio State University, College of Medicine and the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency program. He is boarded in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Clinically he practices both internal medicine and pediatrics as a hospitalist. Dr. Imm has appointments in both the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Medicine and Pediatrics, and the Department of Medical Education. He has served as a clinical faculty member in both the Department of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics since 2015. He serves as the Associate Clerkship Director for the Practice of Medicine, as well as the Director of Assessment and Entrustment for the Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Imm co-chairs the Learner Assessment and Curricular Evaluation committee. His research interest include creating novel and valid assessments for medical students and residents, and the impact of mindset on performance in medical education.
