Dr. Tupayachi joined the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Miami in 2016. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and her Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital / University of Miami. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine. Her areas of interest are Cystic Fibrosis, Non-tuberculous Mycobacteria and Bronchiectasis. She is the director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutic Development Center at the University of Miami, and the Associate Director of the Non-tuberculous Mycobacteria / Bronchiectasis Program. She is the principal investigator of the cystic fibrosis trials.
