Dr. Delgado is Assistant Professor of Medicine, AHA Hypertension Specialist, Founding Director of the AHA-certified University of Miami Comprehensive Hypertension Center. Dr. Delgado is Board Certified Internal Medicine, former Hypertension Fellow and Faculty at the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine of the University of Michigan. Dr. Delgado was the recipient of the AHA Samuel A. Levine Young Clinical Investigator Award; The AHA Women in Cardiology Award; The American Society of Hypertension Recognition Award for Young Investigator; The National Institute Heath Biomarkers and surrogate endpoints Award, among others. Dr. Delgado has several publications, book chapters, and peer-reviewed publications in the field of hypertension and cardiovascular disease, with extensive experience in clinical, epidemiological, and bench research in the field of hypertension.
