Dr. Luciano Pablo Mastrogiovanni joined the Department of Radiology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in February 2025 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology and serves as Medical Director of UHealth Sole Mia.
Dr. Mastrogiovanni earned his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario in Argentina. He completed residency training in radiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Jacobi Medical Center and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, followed by a fellowship in body imaging at North Shore University Hospital in New York. He is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
Prior to joining UM, Dr. Mastrogiovanni served as an attending radiologist at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, where he practiced for over a decade. His clinical and academic interests include abdominal and thoracic imaging, imaging of hepatobiliary and pancreatic disease, and oncologic imaging. He has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented educational exhibits at national meetings, including the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), the Society of Computed Body Tomography and Magnetic Resonance (SCBT-MR), and the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), receiving recognition such as a Merit Award.
Dr. Mastrogiovanni is an active member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, and the Society for Advanced Body Imaging. In his current role, he combines his expertise in clinical radiology with leadership responsibilities to advance patient care and imaging services at UHealth Sole Mia.
