Biography
Dr. Lawrence M. Negret received his medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Centro América, completed his residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, and his fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Miami. He has a clinical interest in thoracic, breast, and genitourinary cancers, with a particular focus on the use of immunotherapies in these diseases. He is board certified in both Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine. -

A Phase III Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Multicenter Study Evaluating the Efficacy and Safety of GDC-9545 Combined With Palbociclib Compared With Letrozole Combined With Palbociclib in Patients With Estrogen Receptor-Positive, HER2-Negative Locally Advanced or Metastatic Breast Cancer

The purpose of this study is to compare the usual drug, everolimus, to using the study drug, lutetium Lu 177 dotatate. Lutetium Lu 177 dotatate could shrink or stabilize your cancer, but it could also cause side effects, which are described in the risks section below. This study will help the study doctors find out if this different approach is better, the same, or worse than the usual approach.

The purpose of this research study is to assess the safety and effectiveness of an experimental therapy for advanced breast cancer called Bria-IMT (SV-BR-1-GM) in combination with the immune checkpoint inhibitor, Retifanlimab. In this study, we want to see whether SV-BR-1-GM injections help boost your immune system and/or help control or help shrink your cancer along with the other drugs that also boost the immune system.

The purpose of this research study is to test the effectiveness and safety of these different study treatment combinations and how well these are when given for your cancer. To do that, we will collect information about your cancer by measuring the size of your tumor(s) during the study and determine whether your tumor(s) grow, shrink, or stay the same size during your participation in this study and determine what effects, good and/or bad, these study drugs may have on your body and your cancer.
