Laura Freedman, M.D., is Director of Radiation Oncology at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at Deerfield Beach. She is also an assistant professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from University of Michigan Medical School and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
Dr. Freedman’s clinical interests include breast cancer, patient education and involvement in community breast cancer related events, head and neck cancer, and lung cancer. She has a great deal of experience in the treatment of all malignancies and has been honored as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and a Best Doctor for several consecutive years.
Dr. Freedman is co-investigator of multiple ongoing protocols at University of Miami in breast cancer and head and neck cancer as primary sites of focus. Her research interests include treatment planning and organ sparing to provide the most complete treatment plans with the least side effects.
