  Dr. Sherrod is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology, in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Medicine and Pain Management at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and serves as the Vice Chief of Anesthesiology at Jackson West Medical Center.
  
  Dr. Sherrod completed postgraduate medical training in Anesthesiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. Following his postgraduate training, he worked in the private sector before rejoining the University in 2021.
