Biography
Dr. Kori Ascher is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the University of Miami, where she has been a faculty member since 2020. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach and her Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine fellowships at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Hospital. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. She currently serves as the Associate Program Director of the Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program. Nationally, she serves as Chair of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine Development Counsel Committee. She leads community initiatives that raise awareness and advocate on behalf of patients with respiratory disease and sleep disorders. Her research interests include defining the role of sleep in health and disease across clinical disciplines by building innovative multidisciplinary collaborations. -
