Dr. Joshua Turkeltaub is a transplant hepatologist and gastroenterologist in the Division of Digestive Health and Liver Disease at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan. Dr. Turkeltaub subsequently completed fellowships in gastroenterology as well as transplant hepatology at the University of Colorado. After joining the faculty at the University of Arizona College of Medicine as a transplant hepatologist at Banner University Medical in Phoenix., he joined the faculty at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine working predominantly at the Miami Transplant Institute and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Turkeltaub is a clinical transplant hepatologist . His interests include management of cirrhosis, liver transplantation, coagulopathy of liver disease, and portal vein thromboses as well as performing upper endoscopies and colonoscopies. He has authored multiple articles in gastroenterology and hepatology and is actively involved in both the gastroenterology and transplant hepatology fellowship programs at the University of Miami.
