  Dr. Auerbach is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Miami, Florida, USA. He received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Ramapo College, NJ and his medical degree in 2008 from New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY. After training in Emergency and Internal Medicine at SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY in 2013, Dr. Auerbach completed a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2015. He also obtained a certificate of medical education from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. In 2016, Dr. Auerbach joined the faculty at the University of Miami School of Medicine. In addition to his academic career, Dr. Auerbach routinely teaches residents and fellows and is the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship Airway Director. He is also involved in various cardiac surgery research studies.
