Biography
Dr. Jie Ping is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Miami and the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Shared Resource (BBSR) at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. With a strong background in bioinformatics and genetic epidemiology, his research emphasizes the biological mechanisms, risk and prognostic factors, and racial disparities in cancers, particularly breast and colorectal cancers. Dr. Ping has been a key contributor as a bioinformatician on numerous large-scale, federally and institutionally funded research projects. Dr. Ping has contributed to many high-impact research projects and has an extensive publication record in top-tier journals. -
