Dr. Jessica Meshman is a board-certified Radiation Oncologist at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is an Assistant Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Meshman earned her medical degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She completed her internship in internal medicine at UCLA Olive-View prior to radiation oncology residency at the University of Miami. She specializes in the treatment of breast and central nervous system (CNS) malignancies. She is part of a multidisciplinary team for the treatment of cancer patients both in downtown Miami and Coral Gables, Florida. Dr. Meshman is passionate about merging holistic patient-centered oncologic care with the latest technologies. To this end, she incorporates intensity-modulated radiotherapy, Gamma Knife and LINAC-based stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiotherapy, proton therapy, and MR-guided adaptive therapy into her daily practice. She has a wide range of research interests. She is actively enrolling her patients onto clinical trials and is green belt trained in Lean Six Sigma for the improvement of quality and patient safety. Dr. Meshman is also active in medical education. As a Longitudinal Clinical Educator, Dr. Meshman is an instructor for the Medicine as a Profession (MAP) course series and mentor for students through medical school into residency.
