In addition to his medical expertise, Dr. Jose boasts an academic background in cellular biology with a bachelor's degree and holds a master's in molecular biology. His journey led him to complete his diagnostic radiology residency at the esteemed Mount Sinai Medical Center in 2007, where he even served as chief resident from 2005 to 2007. His outstanding performance earned him The Evelyn and Harry Indursky Award for Outstanding Radiology Resident that same year. Following this success, he pursued a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery, Weil Cornell Medical College in New York City, where he was recognized with the 2008 Fellowship Education Award. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Jose embraced a position at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he currently serves as a respected Professor of clinical radiology, orthopedic surgery, and PMNR.
