Gaurav Saigal, MD is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Pediatric Radiology and Neuroradiology. Dr. Saigal earned his medical degree from Goa Medical College, Goa University, India in 1996 and graduated from his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the same institution in 1999. He completed two fellowships in Pediatric Radiology, the first at Children’s Memorial Hospital, Northwestern University in Chicago (2000-2001) and the other at Montreal Children’s Hospital, McGill University in Montreal (2003-2004). Dr. Saigal also completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami in 2002. Dr. Saigal has been serving as the Section Chief of Pediatric Radiology at the University of Miami since August 2008. He also been serving as section chief of Neuroradiology since 2014. He is currently at the Full Professor rank in the University and works in both the Pediatric Radiology and Neuroradiology sections. He also serves as the Vice Chair of Finance for the Department of Radiology, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Dr. Saigal has received the University of Miami, Department of Radiology, Henry H. Lerner Outstanding Teacher Award three times (2005, 2006, 2011).
