Dr. Gamaliel Rodriguez-Herrera is a board-certified radiologist with over two decades of experience, specializing in emergency and musculoskeletal imaging. He joined the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology in January 2025.
Prior to his current role, Dr. Rodriguez-Herrera served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and held clinical appointments in both Ohio and Florida. He previously completed a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and served on the faculty in its Department of Radiology.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed his diagnostic radiology residency and chief residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. His academic work includes peer-reviewed publications and national conference presentations, and he has contributed to medical education and community outreach throughout his career.
Dr. Rodriguez-Herrera is fluent in English, Spanish, and French, and has held advisory roles in cultural and educational institutions, including the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
