Dr. Felipe Munera, M.D., is a Professor of Clinical Radiology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he also serves as the Division Director for Trauma/Emergency Radiology and Body Imaging. Dr. Munera earned his medical degree from the Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud (CES) in Medellín, Colombia, and completed his residency and fellowships in radiology at prestigious institutions, including Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and has held multiple academic and clinical roles over his extensive career. Dr. Munera has authored numerous book chapters and journal articles in the field of radiology, particularly trauma and emergency imaging.
