Fei Ye, PhD, MSPH, is a professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences, executive director for quantitative sciences, and assistant director for statistics for the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Shared Resource at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of the University of Miami Health System.
She earned both her MSPH and PhD in biostatistics from the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina. During her doctoral training, Dr. Ye completed an internship and her dissertation research at Vanderbilt University. After earning her doctorate, she joined Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she progressed from instructor to professor of biostatistics, co-directed the Collaborative Studies Coordinating Research Center, and served as vice chair of collaborative studies in the Department of Biostatistics. She also held a secondary appointment in the Division of Epidemiology within the Department of Medicine.
Before joining Sylvester and the University of Miami, Dr. Ye was professor and vice chair of collaborative studies in the Department of Biostatistics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In that role, she co-directed the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Core for Vanderbilt’s Breast and Gastrointestinal Specialized Programs of Research Excellence and served on the Data Monitoring and Scientific Review Committees of the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center. At the national level, Dr. Ye serves as associate editor for statistics at JAMA Oncology, reviews for National Institutes of Health study sections in cancer prevention, immunotherapy, and clinical oncology, and is an elected fellow of the American Statistical Association. She currently holds an adjunct appointment in the Department of Medicine and the Department of Biostatistics at Vanderbilt University.
