  I am a clinical glaucoma specialist who no longer sees patients. I joined the faculty in 1981. I am not a researcher, although I have participated in several clinical trials run by others, and I attend glaucoma research meeting where I offer the occasional opinion. I now perform various administrative and organizational functions, and I teach residents how to perform glaucoma laser procedures.
