Dr. Manjarrez is an Associate Professor of Medicine and founded Hospital Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2001. He graduated from the University of California School of Medicine in San Diego and then completed a Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency at the University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Manjarrez completed a Faculty Development Program in General Internal Medicine at UNC Chapel Hill and advanced training program in Health Care Delivery Improvement with focus in Quality Improvement at Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City. His professional interests are: Perioperative Medicine, Quality Improvement, Transitions of Care, Leadership, and Medical Education.
