Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology

        BiographyDr. Eduardo Moya joined the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Radiology in July 2023 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology. He completed four subspecialty fellowships at Jackson Memorial Hospital in body imaging, cancer imaging, emergency/trauma radiology, and nuclear medicine, following earlier training in Costa Rica and Spain.
 Before joining UM, Dr. Moya practiced for more than a decade in Costa Rica, where he served at Hospital México with the Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social, Hospital CIMA San José, and other institutions. His clinical expertise spans cross-sectional imaging, oncologic imaging, trauma and emergency radiology, and nuclear medicine.
 Dr. Moya has contributed to the literature with publications and case reports in areas including gastric cancer staging, eosinophilic esophagitis, and abdominal wall hernia repair. He is an active member of several professional societies, including the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), and the Society of Abdominal Radiology (SAR).
 At the University of Miami, Dr. Moya combines his international experience and advanced fellowship training to provide high-quality patient care and to mentor residents and fellows in radiology.
