Eden R. Martin, Ph.D., is Director of the Center for Genetic Epidemiology and Statistical Genetics at the John P. Hussman Institute for Human Genomics. She is a statistical geneticist with experience in both theoretical methods development and applied research. Her methods development has focused on family-based association methods, methods to look at interactions, and methods for next-generation sequence data. She has more than twenty years of experience managing large genetic disease studies in Parkinson’s disease, autism, and Alzheimer disease, and has been a founding member of multiple ongoing Alzheimer disease consortia including the Alzheimer Disease Genetics Consortium (ADGC) and the Alzheimer Disease Sequencing Project (ADSP).
