Biography
Domitille Lochet, SLPD CCC-SLP, LSLS Cert. AVT is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology, the lead listening and spoken language speech language pathologist of the Children’s Hearing program as well a certified listening and spoken language specialist from the Alexander Graham Bell Association (LSLS Cert. AVT).
Dr. Lochet is trilingual and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children who are deaf/hard-of-hearing and has participated in research projects that contribute to improving patient-centered care.
She completed a Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology at Northwestern University in March 2022. -

Research Interests
Dr. Lochet is interested in process improvement processes and am always looking for ways to improve the quality and efficiency of service delivery. The focus of the culminating project for her doctorate in speech language pathology was a scoping review on the evidence of strategies used in auditory verbal/Listening and Spoken Language Therapy. Her future interests are to further expand knowledge on scientific evidence in the field of speech language pathology, continue to collaborate in multidisciplinary research projects related to improving efficiency and quality of care for cochlear implant recipients.
