Diana Soliman, MD, MHS is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Endocrinology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She completed her medical degree, Med-Peds residency, and chief residency at the University of Miami, followed by fellowship and a T32 research fellowship at Duke University, where she also earned a Master of Health Sciences in Clinical Research.Dr. Soliman’s interests include improving the transition from pediatric to adult care for patients with diabetes and other endocrine disorders, addressing diabetes health disparities, and preventing type 2 diabetes. She is a principal investigator in the Diabetes Prevention Program Outcome Study.In addition to her research and clinical work, Dr. Soliman is committed to medical education. She serves as Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program, Longitudinal Clinical Educator for the medical school, and course director for the endocrinology curriculum in both Phase 1 (pre-clinical) and Phase 3 (clinical) training.
