Dr. Byrnes is board-certified in internal medicine and she specializes in the management and study of non-neoplastic hematologic disorders, including thrombosis and other non-malignant hematologic conditions. She is also a clinical assistant professor at the University of Miami Health System. Dr. Byrnes earned her Medical Degree from University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and her career highlights include:
