David Martinez Garza, M.D. grew up in Monterrey, Mexico where he completed Medical School training. Pursuing his Academic Career, Dr. Martinez Garza completed Psychiatric Residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami in 2022. Dr. Martinez Garza completed his Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at Mass General Brigham/Harvard Medical School in 2023.
Upon completion of his Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship, David Martinez Garza, M.D. returned to The University of Miami as an Assistant Professor where he currently enjoys dividing his time seeing patients, teaching future Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows, as well as conducting research on a variety of scientific fields.
