David Coffey, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Myeloma at the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. His research focuses on developing precision medicine tools for multiple myeloma by translating genomic assays into clinically actionable insights. With expertise in computational oncology, data science, and machine learning, he studies tumor biology in the context of the immune microenvironment. His prior research has leveraged single-cell profiling, immune receptor sequencing, genomic analyses, and ex vivo drug testing to uncover immune responses, mechanisms of resistance, and predictors of therapeutic outcome.
