I grew up in the Chicago area and attended the University of Chicago and Northwestern. I was lucky enough to do my residency training at the University of Louisville and the associated Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Micro Surgery.
My time in South Florida has witnessed the biggest professional and personal endeavors of my life. My fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, and subsequent hand surgery career have been the start of my work and family lives where I have been lucky to work with our residents and my colleagues.
When not at work, I love spending time with my family and growing children. As my daughter recently told me, "Days are long, but years are short!".
