  Dr. Daniyal Abbas, MD, is a gastroenterologist and Assistant Professor in the Division of Digestive Health and Liver Diseases at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He completed his Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship at Harlem Hospital Center and his Internal Medicine residency at East Carolina University.

  Dr. Abbas’ academic interests include inpatient gastroenterology, endoscopy, and medical education. He previously served as Co-Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editor of the ACG Case Reports Journal and currently serves as an Associate Editor for Evidence-Based GI. His editorial work focuses on medical education and clinically relevant gastroenterology literature.
