Dr. Christopher Schettino is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at the University of Miami, where he has served since August 2020. Dr. Schettino obtained his MD degree from NYU Medical School in 2003 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics from Columbia University in 1999. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology (2008) and holds a Certificate of Additional Qualification in Pediatric Radiology (2010). Additionally, he recently earned the RSNA Imaging AI Foundational Certificate in 2025.
As a clinical educator, Dr. Schettino leads the Cardiothoracic Rotation for the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Radiology Residency Program and serves as the Medical Student Radiology Interest Group Leader. He is also a member of the UM Medical School Education Committee.
In addition to his academic responsibilities, Dr. Schettino is an active member of the Radiologic Society of North America and has contributed to various scientific exhibitions and lectures in the radiology community.
