  Dr. Christian Diez is Professor and Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He obtained his undergraduate, medical school, and Master’s in Business degrees at the University of Miami. He completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is Past-President of the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists, Director and oral board examiner for the American Board of Anesthesiology, and board member for the American Society of Anesthesiologists. He specializes in trauma anesthesia, in which he has assisted overseas, and was selected by the Department of Health and Human Services to serve on its Multi-Specialty Enhancement Team.
