Dr. Brittany Wright is a licensed psychologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Miami where she first became interested in health psychology. She then achieved her PhD in Counseling Psychology from Purdue University. During her pre-doctoral internship at the VA St. Louis Health Care System, Dr. Wright completed a rotation in psycho-oncology at the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She then pursued her post-doctoral residency in psycho-oncology and pain psychology at the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa, FL. Dr. Wright is passionate about working with individuals with chronic health conditions, particularly cancer.
