Biography
Dr. Brian Tse is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute who specializes in oculofacial plastic, reconstructive, and orbital surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), and the North American Society of Academic Orbital Surgeons (NASAOS). He completed his undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College and majored in biophysical chemistry. Afterwards, he went to medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, graduating with research distinction. He completed his medical internship and residency in ophthalmology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. After completing residency, he pursued a fellowship in ocular oncology at the University of Tennessee and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital followed by a two-year oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. He was named Bascom Palmer’s Fellow of the Year during his last year of fellowship. -
