During his Chief resident year, he obtained a Masters of Science in Clinical and Translational Investigation at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He then completed a Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation Fellowship at Columbia University serving as Chief Fellow in his third year. He then completed complete a Neuro-Oncology Fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Boston Children’s Hospital. Bradley now sees both Pediatric and Adolescent and Young Adult patients with CNS Tumors as part the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology division and the Adult Neuro-Oncology division. -

The purpose of the screening TarGeT study is to learn if children and young adults with high-grade gliomas that have specific genetic changes (mutations or other genetic alterations) have better outcomes when treated with drugs that target” those changes. Information will be collected about a research participant's brain tumor. If brain tumor has a targetable genetic change, research participant may be eligible to participate in treatment trial with a drug that specifically targets those genetic changes.

The overall goals of this study are to find the highest dose of selinexor that we can give safely with radiation therapy, and to find out what effects, good and/or bad, selinexor has on people with HGG or DIPG. We would like to find out if selinexor is a beneficial treatment for your tumor.
- Principal Investigator: Bradley Gampel
- Study Phase: Phase I/II
- Enrollment Status: Not Accepting

The goal of this study is to see if the drug memantine makes a difference in changes to attention, memory, or other thought processes (called cognitive function changes) in children and adolescents treated with radiation therapy for a brain tumor.
- Principal Investigator: Bradley Gampel
- Study Phase: Phase III
- Enrollment Status: Not Accepting

To determine the safety and tolerability of 2-OHOA in pediatric patients (under 18 years) when administered orally using a continuous dosing schedule and to identify the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) of 2-OHOA in pediatric patients. To characterize the single-and steady-state PK profiles of 2-OHOA in pediatric patients with a continuous daily dosing schedule and to assess the preliminary anti-tumor efficacy of 2-OHOA
- Principal Investigator: Bradley Gampel
- Study Phase: Phase I/II
- Enrollment Status: Open

The overall goals of this study are:1)To see if radiation therapy (RT) to the spine and a portion of the brain works just as well as the standard treatment, which includes RT to the whole brain and spine, for people with NGGCT who agree to take part in this study (or “subjects”), and whose disease responds well to induction chemotherapy, or who have no signs of disease following surgery.2)To see if we can lower the number of relapses in the spine for subjects who receive RT to the spine and a portion of the brain only, as compared to subjects on previous studies who received radiation to a portion of the brain only and none to the spine.

To identify the dose of olutasidenib that is feasible when given in combination with temozolomide as maintenance therapy after completion of focal radiotherapy (RT) in pediatric and young adult patients newly diagnosed with isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1)-mutant high-grade glioma (HGG). Estimate progression-free survival (PFS) distribution for pediatric and young adult patients newly diagnosed with IDH1-mutant Grade 3 astrocytoma (per 2021 WHO CNS tumor classification) after completion of RT treated with maintenance olutasidenib and temozolomide for 13 cycles followed by 13 cycles of single agent olutasidenib compared to molecularly-stratified and matched historical controls.

To evaluate the efficacy of sodium thiosulfate (STS) infusion administered during cisplatin-containing chemotherapy cycles (compared to a historical cohort selected from ACNS0331 which received chemotherapy without STS) in reducing hearing loss in children with newly-diagnosed average-risk medulloblastoma.
- Principal Investigator: Bradley Gampel
- Study Phase: Phase III
- Enrollment Status: Open

The purpose of this study is to test how effective is giving chemotherapy plus lower dose RT in curing germinoma while reducing the long-term side effects of RT.
- Principal Investigator: Bradley Gampel

The purpose of this study is to see if the study drug, digoxin, will prevent cancer from worsening in children and young adult participants with your type of medulloblastoma.
