Biography
Dr Binu John is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami, astroenterology lead for VISN 8 and Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, at the Miami VA Health System in Miami, FL, USA.
He is a practicing gastroenterologist and hepatologist with a broad background in clinical, outcomes and translational research. His research is focused on chronic liver diseases including cirrhosis, portal hypertension, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), primary biliary cholangitis and steatotic liver disease.
Dr. John is federally (VA MERIT) funded researcher and has over 110 peer-reviewed publications and 200 abstracts, including in high impact journals such as Nature, JAMA Int Medicine, Gastroenterology, Gut, Journal of Hepatology, and Hepatology with an H-index of 33. -
