Biography
Dr. Anna Sfakianaki is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Program Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She practices Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Miami Health System and Jackson Health System - one of the largest and most diverse hospital systems in the country. In her clinical practice, she sees an extraordinary range of patients that represent the breadth of our community. She is board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and has a wealth of publications stemming from her work in the field. Her clinical and research interests include prevention and prediction of prematurity, hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, and obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound. She supervises the education of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellows in all these clinical arenas and cares for patients with a variety of pregnancy complications throughout their gestations, and in whichever scenario arises. -
