Biography
Dr. Beitinjaneh is a nationally recognized clinical research investigator with over a decade of experience in managing aggressive hematologic malignancies, particularly through cellular therapy and stem cell transplantation. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts and has led numerous novel interventional clinical trials, funded by both industry and federal agencies. Dr. Beitinjaneh currently leads the Transplant, Cellular & Viral Therapy Site Disease Group at the NCI-designated Sylvester Cancer Center at the University of Miami (UM) and serves as the BMT CTN Network institutional PI.
In addition to his research, Dr. Beitinjaneh plays an active role on national critical committees such as ASTCT, CIBMTR, EBMT, and CTN. He has been a FACT inspector for over a decade and was selected to serve on the FACT Immune Effector Cell Task Force.
Dr. Beitinjaneh is also a highly respected educator, directing the UM Cellular Therapy and Stem Cell Transplantation Fellowship and overseeing the training of hematology/oncology fellows from various teaching programs across South Florida. He contributes to the field through his service on ABIM's Hematology Item-Writing Task Force, FMA's Council on Medical Education, Science & Public Health, and ASTCT's Committee on Education and Practice Guidelines. -
