Dr. Alessia Cioci is a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship trained endocrine surgeon. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of both benign and malignant disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands. She is comprehensively trained in both minimally invasive and open approaches and offers non-surgical therapies such as Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA).
Dr. Cioci obtained her medical degree from the University of Miami in 2017. She remained at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital for her entire surgical training, completing a general surgery residency and endocrine surgery fellowship. She is a South Florida native who is extremely passionate about caring for her community, especially the underserved and vulnerable populations within in. She is also committed to educating the students and trainees that comprise our healthcare system. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the DeWitt-Daughtry Family Department of Surgery. She sees and treats patients at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and UHealth at SoLè Mia.
