Dr. Sinno is a board-certified Gynecologic Oncologist who completed his medical training at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon, Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Emory University, and Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital where he received multiple awards for excellence in teaching and research. His research interests include surgical innovation and surgical clinical trials, and the social determinants of healthcare inequality. He has authored multiple peer reviewed papers, book chapters, and served as course faculty and presenter at multiple national and international meetings. He is the recipient of the Hologic ACOG grant in cervical cancer detection and CO-PI on a DHS grant aiming at narcotic control in Los Angeles County.
He serves on the clinical practice committee and congressional ambassadors committee at the Society of Gynecologic Oncology. Dr. Sinno is the Chief of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology and Director of Surgical Research and Education.
