2025 Interview Schedule and Application Details
The University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital Otolaryngology-Head and Surgery Residency will conduct interviews on the following days:
- Friday, December 12, 2025
- Saturday, December 13, 2025
Important Dates
- Application Deadline: October 1, 2025 (submitted via ERAS)
- Interview Notifications: November 7, 2025, between 12pm-6pm EST
- Interview Scheduling Begins: November 10, 2025, at 12 pm EST
Please ensure your application is complete and submitted by the deadline. Applications received after the deadline may not be considered for an interview.
All applications must be submitted through the ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) website. Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation (preferably from other academic otolaryngologists). A holistic approach is used to review applications to our program and includes assessments of academic achievements, research experience, community service activities, leadership skills, letters of recommendation, personal statements, work ethics, professionalism, personal aspirations, and life experiences. Our goal is to recruit diverse applicants who can deliver excellent care to address the unique needs of our diverse patient population.
We consider International Medical Graduates who meet the qualifications listed above and possess a valid ECFMG (Educational Commission on Foreign Medical Graduates) Certificate with passing scores on Step 1 and 2. Previous clinical and/or research experience in the United States is preferred.
Our sponsoring institution, Jackson Memorial Hospital, does not sponsor H-1 visas.
Applications must be received in ERAS by October 1, 2025. In accordance with the guidelines posted by the Society of University Otolaryngologists, applicants selected for an interview will be notified November 7th, 2025, between 12-6 pm EST. Interview scheduling will begin November 10th, 2025 12 pm Eastern. Interview dates for our program are Friday December 12th and Saturday December 13th, 2025.
