Florida Stroke Registry

Maintained and managed by the University of Miami, the Florida Stroke Registry consists of stroke data obtained from Florida stroke centers. The Registry supports the delivery of evidence-based best practices, identification of disparities, and development of future interventions to reduce disparities in acute stroke care through the systematic collection and analyses of stroke-care performance metrics.

Transitions of Care Stroke Disparity Study

The Disparities in Transition of Care after Acute Stroke Hospitalization: The Transition of Care Stroke Disparity Study is an investigator-initiated, prospective, multi-center observational stroke case study. The objective of this study is to identify race-ethnic and sex disparities in hospital-to-home transition of stroke care and stroke outcomes, and to develop effective hospital-initiated system level initiatives to reduce these disparities, improve stroke outcomes, and reduce readmissions.

NOMAS Policies

NOMAS has a long history of collaborating with external investigators, including provision of data for individual analyses of NOMAS data, meta-analyses in which NOMAS data has been combined with data from other studies, and provision of data for inclusion in competitive grant proposals.
