The M.S. in Clinical and Translational Investigation (MSCTI) prepares the next generation of scientists to review, design, and conduct high-quality clinical and translational research.

What is Translational Research?

Translation is the process of turning observations in the laboratory, clinic, and community into interventions that improve the health of individuals and the public—from diagnostics and therapeutics to medical procedures and changes in behavior and public health policy. Translational science is the field of investigation focused on understanding the scientific and operational principles underlying each translational process step.
