  I am am the Director of the KiDZ Neuroscience Center and Research Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery and The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. I direct the WalkSafe program (2003), BikeSafe Program (2009), SkateSafe program (2013) and the UConcussion Program (2012). I have co authored two neurocognitive tests the Brief Test of Head Injury and the Pediatric Test of Brain Injury. Currently more interested in analyzing 10 years of data from our Countywide Concussion Program and Concussion Injury Surveillance System initiated in 2012. I am also a new board member of the Safe Routes to School National Partnership.

• Teaching Interests

  For years have taught and trained many residents, fellows, students on rounds, clinics, workshops, seminars etc.<br>Our concussion team does an annual training workshop for all ATCs and ADs in Miami Dade County and Palm Beach County.<br>We are part of the Sports Med, PM&R and Neurology training program for residents that attend our Concussion Clinics weekly.
