During this four-week introductory mindfulness course you will receive guided instruction in mindfulness meditation techniques to reduce anxiety, manage stress, and allow you to better cope with challenges and enhance your self care routines.

Debra Annane, M.A., M.P.H., R.Y.T

Debra Annane has taught mindfulness-based programs since 2013 and has been practicing yoga and meditation for over 30 years. She completed mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) teacher training at University of Massachusetts Center for Mindfulness in the program originally developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn and received teacher certification from Brown University. She is a Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher and trains extensively in the Zen Buddhist tradition. In addition to facilitating and adapting mindfulness-based programs for a variety of populations, Debra works full time as an Assistant Project Director in the Miami office of Sociomedical Sciences, Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, and is an adjunct instructor of mindfulness in public health and medicine at University of Miami Department of Public Health Sciences
