Web Animal Orders

Attention Lab Animal Research Community:

Starting October 1, 2007, you will use https://wao.miami.edu/ to access the new animal ordering system, GRANITE Web Animal Orders (WAO). 

You will need your CaneID and password to access WAO.  To create a new CaneID or manage your current CaneID and password, please click on the link to the CaneID Authentication Service. 

We encourage you to test your CaneID and password via myUM before attempting to access WAO.  However, if you have login issues with WAO that are not due to an incorrect CaneID, please contact Albert Labrada or Dale Wincenciak:

If you were unable to attend end user training, please complete the new Web Animal Orders online training and review the Quick Reference Sheet and What You Need To Know fact sheet.  Follow the instructions for ordering animals once GRANITE WAO is accessed.  Please be advised that the system can be used only when ordering animals from pre-approved vendors.  To request rodents from non-approved vendors, please follow the guidelines for Rodent Importation or contact Dr. Julia Zaias.
