UHealth Offers International Patients Premium Services at New Office in Professional Arts Center

Under the leadership of Natalie Geary, M.D., Chief Patient Experience Officer, International Health has moved to the third floor of the Professional Arts Center to enhance the patient experience and expedite the delivery of a full range of services to international patients.

The services include assistance with travel documents and travel arrangements, coordination of air transfers to University of Miami Hospital, insurance verification, self-pay packages, scheduling, and culturally-appropriate concierge services.

Located next to the UHealth Champions office, the new international patient suite includes a patient reception area and concierges who are specially trained to cater to the needs of international patients. A lead coordinator is in place for each specialty hospital – University of Miami Hospital and Clinics, Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Anne Bates Leach Eye Hospital and UMH.

All requests for international specialty care should be directed to the International Health office at 305-243-9100, which is available to assist 24 hours a day.
