New Food Service Cart Debuts on Medical Campus

Looking for a new option for a quick breakfast or tasty lunch? Now, you can look for the new “Outtakes” food cart from food service provider Morrison that will debut on campus on Monday, December 6. For breakfast, the cart carries an assortment of freshly baked bagels and Latin pastries, cereal, coffee and coffee-based drinks, and other items. Lunch-goers can choose from an array of healthy wraps and salads.

Best of all, the food cart travels! Look for it at the Fred Cowell Mall at Louis Calder Memorial Library, the Schoninger Research Quadrangle or the Mailman Center for Child Development.

Sandra Redway, UM executive director of business services, says the food cart is “an effort to enhance the food service options on the medical campus as we work toward developing a master plan.”

Here’s where and when you can find the Outtakes cart: Breakfast, 7 to 8:15 a.m. at Fred Cowell Mall at Louis Calder Memorial Library, and 8:30 to 10 a.m. on the Schoninger Research Quadrangle.

The lunch times are 11 a.m. to noon at the Fred Cowell Mall at Louis Calder Memorial Library; noon to 1 p.m. on the Schoninger Research Quadrangle; and 1 to 2 p.m. at the Mailman Center for Child Development.
