Improvements Coming to Miller School and UHealth Newsletters and Websites

We are making some important changes to our news reporting and our websites at the Miller School of Medicine and the University of Miami Health System, in order to serve you better.

Our goal is to report as much useful, informative news as possible, but in a more visual and engaging way — sharing the research, clinical care, and educational distinctions of our academic medical center. With that in mind, this will be the last edition of the e-Update newsletter. It will be replaced by an all-new email communication that you will begin receiving next month. This will be one of the new channels we use to reach different audiences, including faculty and community physicians, our staff, and health care consumers.

Many of our stories will continue to appear in e-Veritas, the University-wide newsletter that all faculty and staff receive on Mondays. Our stories will also be posted on the home page of www.med.miami.edu and, as appropriate, on the websites of Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, and UHealth – the University of Miami Health System.

We have recently made changes to the www.med.miami.edu home page, adding links to our grand rounds, events calendar and For Your Benefit listings. Faculty and staff should continue to post official events through 25Live. To submit calendar events, go to https://25live.collegenet.com/miami, click Sign In, enter your Cane ID credentials, and follow the instructions.

As always, we welcome your story submissions to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
